David Ford

Union Chapel, London
28 November, 2014

Last night was over ten years in the making. I saw Easyworld countless times back in the day, but this was the first time I’d seen their singer, David Ford, playing solo.

The venue couldn’t have been better – the sound, lighting and architecture of Union Chapel provided a perfect backdrop for David’s distinctive voice and  storytelling songs. The performance had an added richness, fitting the venue, with the addition of an orchestra.  The place was packed with a rapt audience hanging on every word and note. It  all made for a great night and it certainly won’t be another ten years before I see David Ford again. Check his website to see if he’s coming to your town soon.
