TOUR NEWS: Morgan Evans

You might be wondering if Australian country singer Morgan Evans has a bit of a drinking problem, as his album The Things We Drink To (on Warner Music Nashville) features catchy country pop single, Day Drunk. No dramas, as the Aussie might say. It’s simply about raising a glass to good times and good love.

Evans’ debut U.S. single, Kiss Somebody, hit #1 in America after all, so there’s lot of love to go around!

If you’re looking for a modern country wedding song, you could do worse than I Do, dedicated to country starlet Kelsea Ballerini. Evans explained it was written “about his girlfriend, recorded it about my fiancée, releasing it about my wife.” Yes, it does mention alcohol as well as love!

Evans is hoping you are ready to show love when he heads over to the UK for a 3 date headline tour. He’s been tipped as one to watch by CMT, Rolling Stone, People, and Billboard, so he’s worth checking out. He has certainly earned his touring stripes, having been out on the road with Taylor Swift, Chris Young and Old Dominion.

Any guesses who will support him over here?

September 4: Oran Mor, Glasgow
September 5: Arts Club, Liverpool
September 6: Borderline, London

Tickets are on sale now at Gigs and Tour and AXS.
