Festival News: Nashville Meets London

Over the last three years, Nashville Meets London festival has been a highlight of the year for country fans for two important reasons: 1) the acts are top quality and 2) it’s free! The 2019 line-up has been announced, and it’s suitably epic!

The outdoor festival has been condensed to a single day for a pure shot of country music on July 27. Carrying on the tradition of the monthly Nashville Meets London Presents events, the line-up is 50/50 American and British acts.

The Americans at this festival are American Idol superstar Lauren Alaina, Nashville Meets London Presents alumni Noah Guthrie, and Sarah Darling, who is already a firm favourite on the UK live scene.

The Brits are sparky singer-songwriter Twinnie, country rock duo Foreign Affairs, and Americana Music Association UK award winner Rob Vincent.

The fun starts in the early afternoon of Saturday July 27. Take a picnic and some friends and family and get ready to dance!

The festival date on July 27 is the culmination of four days of country music events in London, including two Nashville Meets London Presents Pizza Express Live events on July 24 and 25, then a Buck ‘N’ Bull Thames river cruise on July 26. Here’s how the last country party boat cruise went, featuring Megan O’Neill, Liv Austen, Raintown and Frankie Davies. Tickets are £45 and include live music, a DJ set by Baylen Leonard, and buffet food. Live line-up to be confirmed. Click here to buy your ticket.

If July’s too long to wait, no worries! There are two Nashville Meets London Presents dates coming up soon with UK country favourites and American guest stars. Click here to buy tickets for Austin Jenckes supported by our very own Lisa Wright on May 29.

The June 26 NML Presents Pizza Express Live is American Cash Campbell and Two Ways Home. Click here for tickets.eb6519da-69b7-4b3d-a697-3aeed005802f
