Birmingham indie band The Twang were all set to light up The Borderline in London tonight. Unfortunately, due to a family bereavement, the show has been postponed to May 28.
Tickets are valid for the new date but anyone who can’t make it can contact the ticket seller for a refund.
Anyone not yet familiar with the band can check out their latest single, Every Time, for a heavy dose of nostalgia about love in the ’90s. It’s the lead single from their forthcoming fifth album, If Confronted Just Go Mad.
Extra nostalgia comes from their choice of merchandise: t-shirts inspired by classic cigarette package graphics. The webstore also has exclusive signed pre-sale copies of the new album.
As well as the new London date, The Twang will be playing with Kaiser Chiefs and The Vaccines in Leicester in August, Victorious Festival in Portsmouth with Lewis Capaldi, Ocean Colour Scene and All Saints, and a tour in December supporting Shed Seven.
For tickets for the London show on May 28, head to The Borderline’s website.
