Carter Faith is celebrating an electrifying breakthrough year by releasing a deluxe edition of her debut album, Cherry Valley Forever. The new version adds another five tracks to an already stacked tracklist, including collaborations with Wyatt Flores, Laci Kaye Booth and Baby Nova.
Cherry Valley Forever
It’s fair to say that Carter Faith’s debut record, Cherry Valley, has staked a claim. When it was nominated for the ACM Album of The Year award, it was the first debut to earn that honour since Chris Stapleton’s Traveller a decade before. Faith was trusted with two performances at the broadcast ceremony; her cover of Faith Hill’s Let’s Go To Vegas which became the anthem of the awards show.
That accolade came on the back of significant critical acclaim. Rolling Stone named the record the Best Country Album of the Year and #17 on their Best 100 Albums of 2025 list. Billboard, NPR Music, Amazon, Music Row, and Stereogum also heaped praise.
Faith also raised her profile with a series of stellar support slots, including with Carly Pearce, Willie Nelson, Post Malone’s Big Ass Stadium Tour and upcoming dates with Stapleton, Kacey Musgraves and Shaboozey.
With all this commotion, and a burgeoning acting career on the horizon – Faith stars alongside Jessica Chastain in an upcoming Netflix film, Heartland – it’s a wonder she has any time left for anything else. You must not know about Faith, because she’s also appeared at the Grand Ole Opry more than a dozen times, duetted with Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild, and collaborated with Jimmy Fallon on the Christmas single Ugly Sweater.
Within this whirlwind, Faith found time to add another five tracks to the album and release it as the deluxe drop, Cherry Valley Forever. Other artists would be pretty stoked to be five songs towards that difficult second album, including a couple of juicy collabs, so it’s a testament to Faith’s faith in her debut that she’s released these tracks as part of the Cherry Valley legacy.
Pearl Handed Pistol
Faith’s new single with dream-pop country storyteller Laci Kaye Booth and genre-blurring songwriter Baby Nova consciously evokes the powerful legacies of The Chicks and Pistol Annies.
“When we wrote this song, I knew from the title, it needed to feel like a woman standing in her own skin, drenched in confidence. Those kind of songs have always given me life through second hand confidence. When thinking about other women in music whose own authenticity and sexiness also inspires and empowers me, Baby Nova was the perfect voice and artistic presence to bring on”
Laci Kaye Booth
Nova was more than stoked and ready to participate, especially given her own close history with Carter Faith.
“Carter was one of the earliest champions of my own project, I’m talking a week or two after I dropped my very first song, so having this full-circle moment with her on Cherry Valley Forever is beyond special to me. I adore this song, but even more than that, Carter and Laci are two fiercely talented women I’m really proud to be coming up in this industry alongside. I just feel a lot of gratitude to be part of it.”
Baby Nova
Pearl Handed Pistol was written by Faith, Booth, award-winning songwriter Jessie Jo Dillon and Chris Tompkins to embody thrill, desire, independence, confidence and consequences. The lush, crystal-clear production is enhanced by an uncompromising cinematic video directed by Lily Nelson.
