Edinburgh Summer Sessions and Nathan Evans & The Saint Phnx Band have announced the family-friendly Heather On The Hill Festival 2026 set to take place at the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh on August 22, 2026. It will foreground Scottish talent and family fun.

Nathan Evans and brothers Stevie and Alan Jukes successfully collaborated on Scottish folk hits like Heather on The Hill, Highland Girl and Flowers In The Water.

They made the partnership official with the combined Nathan Evans & The Saint Phnx Band name, leading to viral smash Arabella and the upcoming album Angels’ Share, due out on January 16, 2026.

They’ve gained experience at big shows, including Rockstar Energy presents TRNSMT and a OVO Hydro arena show in Glasgow that sold-out in minutes. The next step for them is their specially curated Heather On The Hill Festival 2026; a relaxed, family- first experience for festival-goers aged five and up.

Family-first festival

Alongside the live music, Heather On The Hill Festival 2026 will offer children a range of experiences including face-painting, storytelling, arts and crafts workshops, yoga, messy play, singing, funfair rides, market stalls, and interactions with roaming entertainers.
