All things considered, Jason Aldean is a king amongst men in the type of country music that rules U.S. airwaves. That’s because he’s had 23 number one singles, sold over 18 million albums, collaborated with Kelly Clarkson and Miranda Lambert, and been streamed over 15 BILLION times! Therefore, it’s no surprise that he was named ACM Artist of The Decade, having already won Artist of The Year three times before that.
Now Jason Aldean is back with We Back, the lead single from his new album, 9. The song itself is a statement of intent marking Aldean’s return, and is set off with excellent guitar shredding.
Meanwhile, the innovative black & white tour video suits the song perfectly. All credit to Aldean’s long-time collaborator Shaun Silva who forged custom mounts for eight 360 cameras to capture incredible footage. Therefore, the vivid, dynamic footage offers a unique perspective of swung guitars and the unbelievably immense scale of the crowd.
To be sure, 9 is Aldean’s ninth record as the title would suggest. However, it goes deeper than that for Aldean: “It was my baseball number growing up, and it’s just kind of always been my lucky number.”
Jason Aldean’s new album 9 is out now on Macon Music/Broken Bow Records.
