Kelsey Waldon is striving for authenticity in sound and songwriting as she delivers her most personal songwriting to date. She works to combine her influences of mid-century bluegrass, ’60s soul, and ’70s country-rock into something reflective and relatable.
Her forthcoming album, No Regular Dog, was produced by Shooter Jennings (Brandi Carlisle, Tanya Tucker).

Waldon selected the stomping single Sweet Little Girl to accompany the announcement of the album’s release date of August 12, 2022.
“Sweet Little Girl is in part about me, but perhaps it’s also about you. It’s about the rage and unrest inside during a process to find healing. It’s simply just about a gal who is trying to find her way back ‘home.’”
