During festival season, we’re usually scrutinising maps to find obscure farms and country estates. That’s not the case for Lytham Festival. Born in bred in Lancashire, just a few miles from Lytham, we’re absolutely thrilled that the area is hosting such a prestigious event. Here’s our guide to Lytham Festival 2022 which takes place over ten days between June 28 and July 10, 2022. The festival has stellar headliners like Diana Ross, Lewis Capaldi, Duran Duran, The Strokes, Tears For Fears, and Paul Weller. There are epic support bands too – Natalie Imbruglia, TLC, Jade Bird, and Fontaines DC. Need we say more? Well, there are plenty more artists too, so keep reading for the full details!
Location and transportation
Lytham Festival will be held on Lytham Green. Lytham is just 7 miles from Blackpool and 12 miles from Preston. Trains from both regional hubs serve Lytham station. Details of additional bus services for event days will be announced closer to the time.
Car parking will be first-come, first-served on the day, so we suggest you pre-pay in advance to avoid disappointment. If you’re getting a 5 day pass ticket you can also buy a corresponding 5 day parking pass.
Tickets
Unlike traditional summer festivals, Lytham Festival 2022 is a series of ten outdoor concerts with a headliner and support bands. Ticket prices vary depending on how far in advance you buy, whether you want VIP upgrades, and how many shows you want to see. That’s because there are special five-day passes for part 1 (28, 29, 30 June & 1, 2 July 2022) or part 2 (6, 7, 8, 9 & 10 July 2022). Check out the festival’s website for full details.
Logistics and accessibility
The concerts are held outdoors so make sure you take suncream and waterproof clothes so that you’re prepared for whatever happens!
There will be food and drink stalls on site but to make sure you can stay hydrated easily, you can take with you a sealed plastic water bottle (maximum size 500ml) or an empty reusable bottle. There will be free water refill stations around the site.
