To celebrate her country, rock and pop influences, Glaswegian singer-songwriter Kerri Watt has released a cover of NEEDTOBREATHE’s Let’s Stay Home Tonight. Her rendition is inspired by the country style picking and harmonies of The Chicks and Little Big Town.
This song will feature on the first of three EPs, conceived when it became clear that 2020 would not be the best time to release her debut album. Chapter One, due out on Cooking Vinyl on October 2, 2020, will also feature Jessie.
To celebrate these songs, Watt will perform an online StageIt show on September 18, 2020. Don’t delay as if you buy a ticket and send in your address ASAP, you will be sent a care package to enjoy while you watch the show!
If you’re not yet familiar with Watt, know that she was chosen to support Keith Urban and has also played Cambridge Folk Festival, Glastonbury and British Summer Time. She’s also collaborated with Puma Women and French designer Les Georgettes.
