American Songwriter called Shannon LaBrie’s new record, Building, “nothing short of breathtaking.” That’s not surprising. It combines enticing elements of Americana and soul. LaBrie’s powerful voice wraps around six songs of resilience, hope and self-discovery that she wrote or co-wrote, plus a cover of Tom Petty’s It’s Good To Be King.
Given their effusive support, it’s not surprising that American Songwriter jumped at the chance to host LaBrie’s album launch livestream.
Building was recorded at The Blueroom Studio in Nashville and produced by multi-Grammy Award-winners Brent Maher and Charles Yingling. It’s out now on digital streaming platforms.
