If you’re quick and can make it to London, you can still grab tickets for the last ever Hundred Reasons headline show. They’ll be going out strong at a dream venue, paired with the perfect support band for them.
The last ever Hundred Reasons headline show??!
Yes, we were surprised too, since we still consider them a new band. However, it turns out that 25 years passed while we weren’t looking, and now they’re ready to call it a day.
Lead singer Colin Doran explains why: “This show was always on our bucket list so tying it in with 25 years of the band seemed like a great way to mark this milestone. But the more we planned for this show, the more we started to feel that there wasn’t anything else that we wanted to do beyond this.” We certainly have to applaud his honesty and realism here.
“We have seen bands run themselves into the ground and it’s not something we’ve ever felt okay with. So with this in mind we have made the decision to make the show at The Royal Albert Hall our last ever headlining show, and to leave on a high.”
It’s never easy to make these decisions but then the flip side is why not just leave a good looking corpse?”

How did Hundred Reasons make their mark?
Hundred Reasons are a British post-hardcore/emo/rock band that formed in 1999. After releasing several EPs (including the imaginatively titled EpOne, EpTwo, and EpThree), they burst onto the mainstream when their debut album Ideas Above Our Station hit number 6 in the UK Albums Chart. It went Gold, selling over 118,000 copies back when people still bought records.
Hundred Reasons are Colin Doran (vocals), Larry Hibbitt (guitar, vocals), Andy Gilmour (bass, vocals), and
Andy Bews (drums).

What have they been up to since?
A couple more records, some tours, some festival dates but, mostly life, like the rest of us. Yet Hundred Reasons made a surprise return to the scene in 2023 with their first album in 15 years, Glorious Sunset. That critically-acclaimed record was backed by a slew of live dates, including their biggest London headliner to date at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith. That experience will serve them well for the even bigger scale of the Royal Albert Hall.
The band also recently released the official Live Fast, Die Ugly: The Hundred Reasons Podcast, chronically the band’s history, including reminisces about their notorious Top Of The Pops appearances.
What can we expect from the final headline Hundred Reasons gig?
It’s gonna be a celebration of all things HR,” Doran explains. Don’t worry, that doesn’t mean they’re going to be asking ‘do you know why you’ve been called into the office to see us today?’ or sharing new dress code policies. A celebration of all things HR means Hundred Reasons deep cuts, rearranged songs, and even a live string section!
Who is the support band?
Bit of a master stroke, this one. They’ll be supported by New York’s Rival Schools, who came to prominence at pretty much the same time as Hundred Reasons. Both formed in 1999, were often compared to each other musically, and came up through the rock clubs, festivals, and the eagerly devoured mix CDs of the early 2000s.
When is the final Hundred Reasons show?
That’s the thing – very soon! May 7, 2025 at the Royal Albert Hall in London. So you’d better grab your tickets now while you still can.
